TWOKID WICKID Twokid Wickid is the performance moniker of Prithvi Varadarajan & Achal Khanolkar, who hail from the city of Bangalore, India. Having grown up together, the duo began their journey into electronic music in the year 2008 by listening to and playing the more progressive shades of house & &techno. Since then, the lads have been on a constant upward trajectory signing up with Mumbai-based agency & record label Regenerate Music. Establishing themselves as one of the most sought-after acts in the city of Bangalore, they learned, absorbed, and played every style of house music, techno, minimal, electro & breaks. Twokid Wickid also currently run the Jackfruit Dance Party property in Bangalore along with Rishi Sippy & Aaguu.

SKYE

Introducing Skye, Beginning his career as a Resident DJ in 2016, he moved around from venue to venue learning and developing this skill while grasping various sounds & genres. Skye discovered a special place for house music & Break Beat in this journey, which made him realise that the wide variety of music should be incorporated into his sets and give the crowd a special experience because, in his opinion, music is continuously evolving, giving him the chance to learn and introduce new sounds to his craft.

Rishi Sippy

One of Bangalore’s best-kept electronic music secrets, Rishi Sippy is undoubtedly one of India’s most prodigious talents. One half of the performing act “TechNomads” & co-founder of the electronic music agency “ModeMusic”, Rishi has dedicated the larger part of his life to the exploration & dissemination of niche underground music, shaping the persona of his sound that’s energetic, ever-changing & always evolving. Versatile and unique, his performances more often than not create spell-binding dance floor moments through music that has surprised, intrigued & enraptured audiences across the country. Having held residencies at some of Bangalore’s most vaunted electronic music venues has also helped shape his discreet tastes. Loving what he does and playing what he loves, Rishi’s performances are curated for the occasion by creating epic sonic journeys that scream dynamism, individuality, groove & charm.

AAGUU

Alias Aashish Gupta, Berlin-based Bangalore DJ/Music producer, and co-founder of ModeMusic found himself on his musical journey back in 2010. His appreciation of the undercuts of early electronic music moved him to create one-half of the duo, TechNomads, with which he continues to tour and traverse the Indian electronic space. In 2018, he found himself following the path of music to Berlin, where he evolved into AAGUU. He put out his first record in 2019 along with Todh Teri called “Deep in India Vol 6”, which is an ode to his love for the 80’ s Indian cinema music. Since then, he has been playing across festivals and clubs in Europe and India, sharing the stage with the likes of Gerd Janson, Alex Kassian, Axel Boman, Ame, Studio Barnhus, and more; exploring his musical roots of Italo-disco while discovering his passion for the sounds of the ’90s and early 2000’ Ari 3000 is the moniker of Armaan Sheriff, whose DJ sets traverse the more progressive realms of house music, while also exploring the sounds of acid, breaks, trance, disco, and leftfield techno. Drawn to both emotive and eccentric sounds alike, he seeks to channel his appreciation for cutting-edge electronic music and play sets that do justice to the tracks that comprise them. He is trained by DJ and producer Stalvart John and has played a diverse range of sets over time – including a recent performance at Magnetic Fields Festival.
