Atta Galatta invites you to the 1st book reading session of Indomitable by Yezdi Billimoria - a reading of select chapters, coffee and conversations that will make this a memorable evening. Adults [30+] who love stories by Mitch Albom, Fredrick Backman, Eli Shafak may find similar threads of emotional resonance within the pages of this book.

Indomitable is the story of Jamshed Irani - a boy with a mercurial temper and sky-high ambition to fly unfettered among blue skies. Along the way to his goal, a hot-headed, young Jamshed falls in love with the calm and innocent Zenobia. Together they form the core of the story as they come together in love and are ultimately separated by the cold reality of death.

At its core, Indomitable is a heartfelt story of middle-class aspirations and the travails of everyday living - of family, love & laughter coupled with loneliness & death.

About the author

Yezdi is a bookworm, a music buff, and an emerging author with an insatiable desire for books. His love for the written word spans diverse authors and genres - from the riveting thrillers of James Hadley Chase & John Grisham to the evil, yet wickedly satisfying tales of Stephen King, and from the rollicking happenings of James Herriot to the uplifting prose of Neale Donald Walsche, he is always on the lookout for the next great novel to sink his teeth into.

Yezdi’s other passion is music, having grown up on a diet of the Beatles & Dire Straits to vibing (much later) to Imagine Dragons & the Weekend, coupled with the timeless melodies of Kishore Kumar & Rafi, when the mood is nostalgic and memories beckon.

At home, he is the designated Chef de Breakfast (aka Ramu kaka) and can frequently be found in the kitchen, whipping up delicious sandwiches and omelettes for his family & friends.
