Santosh Pattar is from Koppal, Kustagi an agricultural community that celebrates nature and the Mother Goddess. His works are influenced by his rural environment domesticated animals, local fairs and festivals that celebrate the fecundity of the landscape, and his own identity as a young rural artist who is nostalgic about his living traditions.
