It’s that month of the year again when beer lovers across the world start blocking their calendars to celebrate the much-awaited Oktoberfest All the way from the German towns, we present to you this century old folk festival right here in the heart of the city at The Merak Brewhouse from 17th September - 1st October From the authentic Cheese platter serving Smoked Gouda, Brie, Fried Camembert with onion jam to Bacon bites Fresh out of oven Pretzels to the quintessential varieties of sausages and brats in Curry sauce with buns and kraut on side, Porcini Sliders, the traditional Pork Roast to lesser-known desserts like the Topfentascherl (curd pastry), Powidltascherl (plum jam turnovers), Buchteln (Baked sweet bun with jam and sweet curd fillings) and the Viennese Apfelstrudel (Classic Apple strudel) All these and more, perfectly paired with a range of Stout, a dark English ale brewed with the dark malts, imparting a balanced roasted coffee and dark cocoa notes, The Festbier, which is inspired from the typical Oktoberfest Bier with a rich malty flavor, slightly toasty and bready with light hop character, the Hefeweizen and the IPA So, join us this September at The Merak Brewhouse at the JW Marriott Bengaluru to say cheers to celebrating world festivals here at the pub capital of the country!
