Event Description

Jyotsna is a leading Carnatic violinist and composer known for her versatility and cross-genre collaborations. Trained from a young age in both Carnatic and Western classical music, she gave her first concert at nine and has since performed globally as a soloist and collaborator, including alongside legends like Dr. Balamuralikrishna.

She has appeared at major venues such as the BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall, and The Music Academy, Chennai. A Fellow of Trinity College of Music, London, Jyotsna is also a medical doctor specializing in pathology.

An A-grade All India Radio artist, she has released 10 solo albums and contributed to over 400 Indian film soundtracks, as well as international film projects. She is the Artistic Director of Dhruv Arts and the London International Arts Festival.

Her standout performances include composing and playing for 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium during the UK Welcomes Modi event and performing at Buckingham Palace. She has collaborated with orchestras and ensembles across Europe and continues to innovate through global projects blending Indian and world music traditions.
