Event Description

Chef Anura Chandrasiri Lenora is bringing authentic dishes from his home in Sri Lanka to Bangalore. This will take place at the Neo Kitchen from 2nd June 2023 to 11th June 2023. The festival will conclude as an elaborate Srilankan Festive Sunday Brunch on June 11, 2023.

"Kandy Esala Perahera”, also known as the festival of the tooth commemorates a historic ritual to pay homage to Lord Buddha’s sacred tooth relic. Celebrated as a festival of lights and unique customs food takes centre stage with its origins in the streets of Kandy.

The festival will feature Sri Lankan dishes like Kurakkan pol roti with katta sambol, Malu aengilla, Kothu roti, and Uru mas ratu kari.

To complement the culinary delights, a thematic beverage menu, "Sips of Ceylon," will be offered for guests to enjoy with food.
