"Kathakar: Ek manch prem kahaaniyon ka." is an evening of Love Stories of all kinds. We have brought to you some of the most amazing Hindi and Marathi storytellers from across India with their beautifully written unconventional love stories.

From Jammu and Kashmir to Bangalore, Karnataka, From Bhavnagar, Gujrat to Siliguri, West Bengal, From Delhi to Bhopal to Ghaziabad and Kanpur, From Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur to Bihar, Bokaro, Dehradun. We received love stories from everywhere, And shortlisted the best 15 stories that you will be hearing at the Slam.

These Storytellers will tell their love stories in the presence of Actor/Director Gajraj Rao, Actor Jitendra Joshi, Author Divya Prakash Dubey, Casting director Tess Joseph and Storyteller Mehak Mirza Prabhu.

Who is this slam for?

This slam is for everyone who wish to spend their Saturday evening listening to some of the most unconventional and heartfelt, Hindi and Marathi love-stories, told by talented storytellers coming from various cities of India.

This is a chance for all the budding storytellers and writers to watch and listen to the best 15 stories, shortlisted from over 200+ entries. And also hear the comments made on them by well known names of Writing and Acting Industry, who will be present at the Slam.

About the Guests -

Gajraj Rao - Gajraj Rao is a well known film actor and director. He is known most for his award-winning performance in the film Badhaai Ho. He has worked in many films and web-series. And is famous amongst the audience for his leading role in Badhaai Ho and supporting roles in movies like Talvar, Blackmail and web-series like TVF'S F.A.T.H.E.R.S.and Tech Conversations with Dad. He also directed a number of ad-films with Code Red Films.

Jitendra Joshi - Jitendra Joshi is an Indian actor and reality show host who predominantly works in Marathi cinema. He starred as constable Katekar in the hit Netflix television series Sacred Games. Joshi also wrote the popular song Kombdi Palali, which was later remixed as Chikni Chameli. He got his first recognition from the Zee Marathi daily soap Ghadlay Bighadlay where he played Krishna. In 2011, he hosted Marathi Paaul Padte Pudhe, a talent reality show on the Zee Marathi.

Divya Prakash Dubey - Working on the new art of "Storybaazi" and one of the flag bearers of "Nayi waali Hindi" movement in India Divya Prakash Dubey is an Indian Author and Storyteller. He has written a total of five books as of now namely - Masala Chai, Terms and conditions apply, Musafir cafe, October junction and Ibn-e-batuti. He is the creator of acclaimed audio shows on Amazon Audible, namely - Piya Milan Chawk, Dil Local and Do Duni Pyaar.

Tess Joseph - With an honors degree in communications from StXaviers Calcutta followed by a summer scholarship at Gallaudet Washington DC to study ASL with dance and theatre, Tess Joseph has always made eclectic choices. Tess Joseph began her journey as a Casting Director (India) on Mira Nair's 'Namesake' and went on to work with many international directors including Wes Anderson, Jeffrey Brown, Ang Lee and Doug Liman. Her recent work can be seen in Netflix's critically acclaimed film "White tiger" starring Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra and Adarsh Gourav. She is "Khaleesi" at Kommune.

Mehak Mirza Prabhu - Mehak Mirza Prabhu is a storyteller and writer from Mumbai, who creates fictional stories in Hindi, Urdu, Marathi and English. Audio visual storytelling through voice modulations is one of her unique strengths. Also a certified Life Coach, scriptwriter, social reform enthusiast, motivational speaker on Tedx and Josh Talks; runs an online storytelling school; 'Jhumritaliaya', dedicated towards merging classic storytelling form, with original stories that reflect recent times.
