Having grown up together, the duo began their journey into electronic music in the year 2008 by listening to and playing the more progressive shades of house & &techno. Since then, the lads have been on a constant upward trajectory signing up with Mumbai-based agency & record label Regenerate Music. Establishing themselves as one of the most sought after acts in the city of Bangalore, they learnt, absorbed and played every style of house music, techno, minimal, electro & breaks. Rishi Sippi One of Bangalore’s best kept electronic music secrets, Rishi Sippy is undoubtedly one of India’s most prodigious talents. One half of the performing act “TechNomads” & co-founder of the electronic music agency “ModeMusic” ,Rishi has dedicated the larger part of his life to the exploration & dissemination of niche underground music, shaping the persona of his sound that’s energetic, ever- changing & always evolving. Versatile and unique, his performances more often than not create spell-binding dance floor moments through music that has surprised, intrigued & enraptured audiences across the country. Having held residencies at some of Bangalore’s most vaunted electronic music venues have also helped shape his discreet tastes. Todh Teri Todh Teri is the revival of Indian cinematic sounds reworked for the modern dance floor. Todh Teri reimagines the era of disco & cabaret from Bollywood with house, acid & funk infusions. Knique “Music is soul food” An alias of Nikshith Shetty Knique has been in the music scene for over 10 years now. A true DJ and a performer by heart but a devoted underground music producer by soul. From years working as a DJ in Bangalore, Knique has been slowly absorbing the finest elements of deep house and techno and channeling it into his well-researched performances. Drawn to the music making machines of the past knique believes creating his emotions where the soul of music can takeover the machines and create music that is smooth textured and have basslines that sing and croon sub frequency nourishment. When it comes to Dj’ing the music takes priority, coming forth in soothing waves of harmonious chords, captivating leads and understated drums that speak volumes for simplicity and soul within deep house and Techno. Knique understands the world that revolves around true house music such as pounding basslines to soulful melodies to the deep house checklist of dubby chords to deep drums and percussions. As Sun Ra once said, “Space is not only high, it's low and this earth cannot move without music.” Knique also runs and operates Mixlabs music Academy in Bangalore, India where DJing and Music Production is taught with absolute heart and soul. SKYE Introducing Skye, Beginning his career as a Residant DJ in year 2016 , he moved around from venue to venue learning and developing this skill while grasping in various sounds & Genres. Skye discovered a special place for house music & Break Beat in this journey, which made him realise that the wide variety of music should be incorporated into his sets and give the crowd a special experience because, in his opinion, music is continuously evolving, giving him the chance to learn and introduce new sounds to his craft.
