Event Description
Kuch Urdu, Kuch Noor, Kuch Guftagu is an hour long poetry and interactive storytelling special. The show is sprinkled with plenty of Hindi & English explanations between Urdu recitations. The selections include original poems as well as works of classic Urdu shayars such as Faiz Ahmad Faiz and Jaun Elia. They cover a host of emotions, moving from vulnerable to intense, but often with humor. The recitation themes span the beauty of Urdu, fidelity, heartbreak, resilience, life, philosophy, etc. This presentation will bring Urdu to the audience in a light, playful & personal vein.
