Event Description

Kuru Circus is an internationally acclaimed Indian band who are well known for their legendary live shows. They have been performing across India and around the world for over a decade. They have been acknowledged by the international press to be Indian underground pioneers, for their unique and original performances. Drones, chilling other-worldly blips, the urgent squeal of sine waves, and an immersive and captivating sound-art performance are touchstones of the experience they have been refining over the past decade. They broke new ground during their historic Kuru Circus Transmissions Tour 2018, by performing in many countries in South East Asia, and became the first Indian band to be invited to Indonesia, by the punk community there. Their music genre has been classified as Electro Kabuki/ Syringe Rhythm/ Dreamhouse/ Firepop.
