A sonic journey into the rich musical heritage of Karnataka’s Kuruba shepherds, Kurubar Haada brings together curated folk songs that celebrate the Deccani sheep and the deep pastoral traditions of the region. Led by acclaimed folk artist Shilpa Mudbi and featuring artists from Kalaburagi, this performance pays tribute to the symbiotic relationship between herders, wool, and the land.

Shilpa Mudbi is a singer, performer, theatre artist and documentary filmmaker, dedicated to preserving and reviving Karnataka’s diverse folk-art traditions. She will be performing with the ‘Kalburgi Kala Mandali’ a group of young folk voices from north Karnataka.
