After a sold-out show last year as part of our 15th-year celebrations, Kutiyattam is set to #returntoRangaShankara!
The Kottichetham Kutiyattam Ensemble presents 'Vikramorvasheeyam', Kalidasa's timeless Sanskrit play in Kutiyattam, supported by the Goethe-Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan. Directed by renowned senior Kutiyattam practitioner Guru G Venu and featuring artistes Kapila Venu, Sooraj Nambiar, and Ammannur Rajaneesh Chakyar, 'Vikramorvasheeyam' narrates the story of King Pururavas and the Apsara Urvashi's powerful love in all the richness and glory of India's oldest theatrical art form!
