And the world is made of plenty – culture, traditions and beliefs are tied to our lives, enriching them. As we learn from their historic value, we weave stories from our own experiences. We embarked on a journey exploring some of the most unique food stories, where the ingredients are not limited to food, but people, culture, history, art and literature. Each chapter of Life in a Bowl reveals a different Indian city; uncovering the past, relishing the present and imagining the future. All of these are tossed together and served in a humble bowl, ready for the taking. With Life in a Bowl – Episode: 2; Bangalore, we search for the tales that often go untold, hidden in plain sight behind a face or deep within our memories. Following the screening there will be a discussion between Sangeeta Ghosal and the director Purandar Chaudhuri. This will be followed by a Q&A session.
