Event Description

Looms of Memory an exhibition of textiles curated by VIMOR HANDLOOM FOUNDATION

This exhibition of textiles tells the story of the history of revival, innovation, renewal, and of weaver livelihoods. The exhibition will curate 25 textiles that are drawn from a part of the Vimor Museum of Living Textiles collection.

Curated walks with  Vipra Muddaya, and Pavithra will take the participants through a journey of identifying the weaves, the motifs, the heritage and stories of revival, and the impact on weavers’ lives.

A guided tour of the exhibition will be conducted for which slots need to be booked. More about that here

These will take place from 3.30pm – 4.30pm on Saturday 13th November and Sunday 14th November and from 11 am – 12 noon on Sunday 14th November.

Apart from these times the exhibition will be open to all.
