love//shell//nut is an interdisciplinary contemporary dance duet exploring the many ways we connect, with each other, with space around us, all the things and with the world around us. Through movement, sound, text, and visual elements, the piece moves through states of encounter, intimacy, protection, distance, rupture, release and eventually a space to be free. Like layers of a shell and a nut cracked open, each phase holds traces of what came before, revealing how connection can transform without disappearing. Rooted in listening and relational practice, the piece reflects on love not as a fixed state, but as an ongoing act of attention, care, freedom, and openness.
