Event Description

LUDMI – In My Dreams

LUDMI: voice

Aman Mahajan: piano

Rohit PS: drumset

LUDMI (voice) and Aman Mahajan (piano), joined by Rohit PS (drums), present a musical conversation through original compositions and reimagined jazz standards shaped by influences across musical traditions. Rooted in jazz, yet open in sensibility, the performance explores the interplay between intimacy and expansiveness, structure and freedom.

The concert draws inspiration from LUDMI’s debut single In My Dreams, a reflection on the longing for an all-consuming love that feels vivid and near, yet remains just out of reach. This emotional landscape informs the thematic thread of the concert, where lyricism, world rhythms, harmonic colours, and diverse styles of music come together in an expressive journey.

The concert invites listeners into a reflective space where music becomes a bridge between inner landscapes and lived reality… between dreams imagined and emotions felt.

Originally trained as a classical pianist in Moscow from the age of five, LUDMI later expanded into vocal performance, having received training at the Prague Conservatory and attending international programs including Berklee Umbria Jazz Clinics (Italy) and Berklee Valencia (Spain). Her artistic background also includes acting studies at Prague Film School, bringing a strong storytelling presence to her performances.

Based in Bangalore, Aman leads and collaborates across numerous ensembles including REFUGE, Sage for the Ages, Tinctures, Mystik Vibes, Intuition, and projects with Radha Thomas.
