Delhi Theatre Festival Presents Macbeth: What’s Done is Done

Greed, ambition, and guilt draw. Julio (Vinay Pathak) & Pedro draw you into the world of Macbeth or Macky B (Rajat Kapoor) & Lady Macbeth, an adaptation of Macbeth and his lady. Macky B is a good, honest man, a brave soldier, and a loyal friend. Macky B & his friend Banquo set out on an adventure in the forest where they meet three witches who give them three impending prophecies, for whom “Fair is foul, and foul is fair”. After that the perception of Macky B is “Stars hide your fires, Let not light see my black and deep desires”. Vinay Pathak & Rajat Kapoor make it a scary clownish affair. “By the prickling of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes”. 

The audience becomes fellow citizens’ of the then filthy Scotland, where you will live with Macky B and his lady. Beware as they “Look like the innocent flower, But be the serpent under it”.
