This is the sixth edition of the ‘All For Dance’ series presented by Kalavaahini in association with BIC curated by Malavika Sarukkai. The ‘All For Dance’ series is presented every quarter at BIC to spotlight some of the best of classical dance from across India. Bharatanatyam Dancer
Trained under Smt. Alarmel Valli in the Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam, Meenakshi is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher, honored with prestigious titles including the Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for Bharatanatyam in 2011 and has been conferred the titles Natya Kala Vipanchee, Natya Kala Dharshini and Nrtya Abhinaya Sundaram. An empaneled member of ICCR and a “Top Artist” with Doordarshan, she beautifully balances her dual passion for dance and architecture and has an Architectural practice called Calm Studio.
