Event Description

Malleswaram Hogona (Eng: Let’s go to Malleswaram) is a street art project to make the streets safe for the community. Conceived by the Bengaluru moving project, this street art walk is an initiative to make neighbourhoods safe, friendly, and full of character. For this project, 13 Indian artists came together to create 12 walls filled with art through the secret lanes of Malleswaram to reclaim spaces for pedestrians, and we would love to host you Apart from being one of the oldest planned neighbourhoods in the city, it houses a flower market, a 71-year-old eatery in an art deco building, and lanes adorned with trees. Each work of art tells you the artist’s inspiration and their connection to the landscape. Let’s head to the streets of Malleswaram to go back in time as well as witness the present-day fiesta with murals.
