Event Description

Art Café at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway is conducting one of a kind workshop ‘Mandala Art’ under the guidance of Ujjwal Gulati. It’s an experiential activity that integrates art and mindfulness into one congenial experience to engage the participants. Ujjwal Gulati, a self-taught artist and illustrator is best known for his meditative art of Mandalas and Sacred Geometry.

At Art Café, Ujjwal will engage the participants in a meditative experience through the medium on Mandala Art. The workshop is curated to introduce various art forms of Mandalas and familiarize the audience with its benefits as an alternative meditation practice.

Facilitator Ujjwal doesn’t give references to participants to draw but encourages them to make mandalas based on what they feel that keeps them engrossed. The complete duration of the workshop is 2 hours 45mins consisting of introduction and an interactive session followed by making the Mandalas and an additional 10mins to receive feedback from the audience. 

He seeks his inspiration from different elements of nature and believes in guiding the audience through a mesmeric and uplifting session of creating a Mandala of their own, using nothing but their own curiosity and imagination.
