EVENT HAS ENDED
7 4th Main Rd, Stage 2, Domlur 560071
Lord Krishna has undisputedly been the centre stage of compositions in Indian music, be it about his symbolism with the clouds, the rain, association with Radha and Meera, his ras leela with the gopis in Vrindavan or as the revered incarnation Lord Vitthala.
Two vocalists from Pune – Ruturaj Kolpe and Sanjana Salunkhe – celebrate the many moods of Krishna with an evening of music rooted in the diverse semi-classical forms of ashtapadi, haveli sangeet, bandish, bhajan, gavlan, abhang, hori and rasiya. They will be accompanied by Shantanu Deshmukh on the tabla and Tejas Katoti on the harmonium.
