Event Description
Baithaki is a performance form of Kathak in which the dancer “dances” her repertoire with hand gestures and facial expressions while seated. In this “Mehfil”, dancer Rani Khanum brings to life the Baithaki Andaaz through Thumri and recreates the charm of the old world of Lucknowi Tehzeeb from the courts of the Nawabs through some rare Ghazals and Bandish.
