Event Description

Join us for a lively conversation about cats, their histories, myths, and personalities. Exploring two books on Indian cats, B. N. Goswamy’s The Indian Cat and Olliewanders, you can swap stories, challenge common misconceptions, and celebrate the surprising complexity of our feline companions.

Expect good conversation, plenty of colour, and a “mosaic of many cats” who may look suspiciously like their humans, especially for anyone who suspects they might, spiritually, be a cat.

This event is part of the closing weekend celebrations for The Many Lives of the Cat.

Sanchita Jain
Sanchita Jain is a communication designer based in Bangalore, with over 15 years of experience, she works primarily in the social impact space. Alongside her design practice, she is a life-long yoga practitioner and also the creator of Olliewanders, a whimsical illustrated book inspired by her cat. In this workshop she plans to decode Ollie’s feline behaviour with anthropological seriousness.
