Event Description

This Bharatanatyam production traces the parallel cycles of women and the earth, each unfolding through the turn of the seasons. As the earth moves through its changing forms, its female protagonists move through their own inner seasons, carrying turmoil that mirrors the natural world around them before dissolving into liberation.

Through evocative movement, music, and storytelling, the work moves between distinct narratives: the grace of Amrapali, the devotion of Radha, the resilience of Sita, the courage of Rani Lakshmibai, and the environmental legacy of Amrita Devi. Each episode draws out a different facet of feminine strength and transformation, building toward a single, layered portrait of endurance across time.
