Event Description

Motorcycles are Art. When you design a motorcycle, you're creating lines and surfaces using strokes, like a painter creates paintings using the same kind of strokes on a canvas of paper. Except, in this case, the canvas is a metal frame containing an intricate medley of thousands of moving parts held together by nuts and bolts, the paint is a seamless marriage of perfectly sculpted metal and plastic, and the result is a piece of art that can propel you to speeds reaching up to a third of the speed of sound. This piece of art doesn't just move your body. It moves your soul. I aim to conduct a fun and free-wheeling session on Motorcycle Design at Atta Galatta. We will talk motorcycles, sketch motorcycles, and have a candid discussion about everything that goes into creating these beautiful machines.
