Event Description

The Multispecies Hackathon brings together students, researchers, designers, technologists, and storytellers to reimagine our relationship with the natural world by centering the perspectives, needs, and agency of non-human life. By combining AI, computer vision, remote sensing, hardware, and new media with deep ecological thinking, participants build solutions that promote biodiversity, enable coexistence, and advance conservation. In a city as dense with multispecies life as Bengaluru, coexistence is not just a necessity. It can also be a source of joy, connection, and a deeper sense of place. Over two days, teams will build real tools, ideas, and interventions for a world beyond humans, combining AI, computer vision, remote sensing, hardware, and new media with ecological thinking.
