Ranga Shankara, JP Nagar September 1,2, Thursday and Friday 7:30 PM Synopsis The production is loosely based on Shakespeare's Midsummer Nights Dream. It could be said that this is a continuation of Sanket's successful comedy "Nee Naanadare Naaneenenaa". Sikkoji is constantly trying to woo his wife who is cooking imagined conspiracies. He currently needs a phylactery or a spell or anything that enchants. He has sent his secretary Patil for getting this. In the meantime, Marthanda comes to Sikkoji with a memorandum: His daughter has fallen for a poet, which is not acceptable. The foursome, all in love, are in their respective whirlpools. Amidst this, Sikkoji has also organised a play in his house to celebrate his second wedding anniversary, which now looks doubtful. The drama troupe is entangled in its own problems. Now, what happens if the spell falls into the hands of two stage-hands who are drunk? Can Sikkoji reclaim his wife? Can the lovers find their respective partners? Did the troupe finally perform the play.... Written and Directed by S Surendranath
