Step into a world of captivating elegance & breathtaking artistry of young dynamic Odissi dance duo, Sahana R Maiya & Banashree Mohapatra (disciples of Smt. Madhulita Mohapatra). The two talented Odissi dancers have dedicated years of training & practice to master this ancient art form and watch them present a traditional Odissi repertoire at Nrithya Sandhya. Odissi, a classical dance form that originated in the state of Odisha, India, is known for fluidity of the body, lyrical movements and graceful postures. The dancers are set to take the audience into a mystical realm through captivating stories of mythology, spirituality & human emotions.
