Event Description

One Day In The Life Of Ivan Denisovich is a short story by Nobel Laureate and Russian writer, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. The story was first published in November 1962 in Soviet Literary Magazine Navy Mir (New world.) Set in a Soviet labour camp in 1950s, the story describes an ordirnary day in the life of a sinlge prisoner, Ivan Denisovich Shukhov.
