One Love is a performance that explores the question: What is love? Through stories of love, honour killing, caste, and the experiences of marginalized communities, the performance looks at the ways love is shaped, controlled, celebrated, and sometimes violently denied by society.
The performance brings together songs, poetry, storytelling, music, and physical expression, creating a shared landscape of different stories and experiences of love. It uses different musical instruments and emerges through the voices and bodies of people from marginalized communities.
Moving between Tamil, Kannada, and English, One Love brings together different forms of expression to ask what it means to love, who gets to love freely, and what happens when love challenges the social structures around us.
