Oota & Aata is an intimate, hyper-local event series that invites people to pause, gather, and play like we used to — back in the day.

A curated experience set in Sabha inspired by balmy Bangalore’s late afternoons, games your ajji loved paired with comforting tea-time snacks inviting a slower kind of joy.

Oota & Aata Edition 3

Oota & Aata invites you to explore a range of traditional board games that may stir up a childhood memory or pique your curiosity to learn something new!

Recreate the memory of a childhood home where slow weekend evenings were spent in playful exploration with loved ones, as you choose from one of the games like Alaguli Mane/Pallanguzhi, Pagade, Aadu Huli/ Tiger & Goat to explore.

The event will also feature snack platters inspired by authentic South Indian tea-time snacks like vadais, Mangalore buns, kuzhipaniyarams and ambient music to elevate the experience. Gather your game-night crew, a friend or come solo for an evening of playful (could get competitive) fun and discovery!

This time, Oota & Aata will take place over 2 sessions. We have a morning slot (10:30am-1pm) and evening slot (4-6:30pm). Please choose your slot accordingly.

Roll The Dice is dedicated to reinventing the experience of playing traditional Indian board games. These games are most enjoyable and beneficial when played by people across generations, offering memory boosts, sharper thinking, relaxation, and improved cognitive skills.
