Event Description
Papa Painter is a son’s journey from the word ‘Papa’ to the person behind it.
A small family from a rural village boards a train bound for a hopefully better tomorrow. But migration changes the child faster than it changes the parent and gaps begin to form. Papa Painter is born from these gaps. Set in the 1990s India of ration cards and PCO booths, of Doordarshan and Shaktimaan, of cycle bells and Bajaj scooters, Papa Painter is an intimate exploration of the many stages in a father–son relationship.
