Event Description

Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor (RBITC) and Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore IT Corridor will host the annual Pet-a-Thon on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Therpup Resorts on Sarjapur Road. This event, part of the lead-up to the Bengaluru Midnight Marathon 2024, invites pets and their owners to support animal rights and welfare. Proceeds will go to Second Chance Sanctuary, a Bangalore-based organisation focused on rescuing and rehoming abandoned and abused dogs and local government school projects.

The Pet-a-Thon will run from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and feature activities like fashion shows, races, an obstacle course, and a "Walk of Distraction. " It will also include pet grooming sessions, health check-ups, and training tips. Second Chance Sanctuary will also host an adoption drive for dogs seeking new homes.

The 17th Edition of the Bengaluru Midnight Marathon will take place on December 14, 2024, at KTPO in Whitefield. With race options from 5K to a full marathon, the event will raise funds for Rotary’s initiatives in health, education, and the environment.
