Event Description

Catherine Jagoe is an English poet, translator and essayist based in the US, and a contributor to the American radio series Wisconsin Life. She will read from her poetry about immigrant life as one loses and remakes home, and the interconnection of the human and natural worlds. She will also play some of her lyrical prose radio pieces about Wisconsin, in the Great Lakes region of the US, with its subarctic winters. She is excited and honoured to hold a reading from her 3 poetry collections for an Indian audience and looks forward to a good discussion.
