We’re delighted to invite you to Rafoo: Bengaluru Body Memories Workshop — a moment of reflection, resistance, and creativity.

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll turn our stories about our bodies into textile archives of memory, resistance and feminist solidarity. Through body-mapping, stitching, and collective reflection, you’ll explore the myths, rules and demands that shape how we relate to our bodies — and craft your own sewn truths.

Materials are all provided. Bring along a piece of clothing or fabric if you like — we’ll use it as part of the journey. Rather than aiming for perfect stitches, we’ll embrace irregular threads, raw edges and visible mends as part of our collective story.

This workshop is brought to you by Rafooghar (“The House that Mends”), a community space in south-east Delhi where marginalized women gather for stitching as emotional repair, rest and resistance. Their spirit of repair and renewal inspires every moment of this experience.
