Event Description

Murali Mohana Gowda , a practitioner of the Dagar school of Dhrupad, will be presenting a recital on the Rudraveena with a demonstration of Gayaki Ang (Vocal elements). The performance will focus on exploring vocal elements of Dagarbani on the instrument. Through the performance, the artists will try to tell the story of the evolution of Indian Music in general. Murali will be accompanied on the Pakhawaj by Shri Rututraj Bhaktraj Bhosle from Maharashtra.
