Event Description

Ranga Shankara AHA!'s "Little Cloud" is back with Series 3! The theatre's signature storytelling programme for children brings together 14 storytellers this time. It is offered as a holiday gift for children above 4. The stories are in 7 languages (Kannada, English, Hindi, Telugu (company theatre genre), Tamil, and Marathi). There will be one story in the classical Indian tradition of Kutiyattam and one story from Germany.

Stories of Little Cloud Series 3 will premiere every day between 25 and 31 Dec, 2020. There will be stories every day at 11 AM and 11 30 AM on Ranga Shankara's YouTube channel (RangaShankaraTheatre). The stories will remain on the channel for repeat viewing.

The storytellers in this series are Ratna Pathak Shah (Hin), MD Pallavi (Kan), Arundhati Nag (Eng), Sihi Kahi Chandru (Kan), Surabhi Theatre (Tel/ Company theatre), Ajeet Singh Palawat (Hin), Padmavati Rao (Hin), Kapila Venu (Kutiyattam), Gitanjali Kulkarni (Mar), Malavika PC (Tam), Sushma S V (Kan) and Davide Benito Garcia (Eng).

There is a wide variety in the stories - some of them from mythology and fairy tales, some of them devised by the storytellers themselves, and some of them written by well-known story writers. 

Ranga Shankara AHA!'s Little Cloud Series 1 premiered in April 2020 and Series 2 in May 2020. A total of 36 stories by some of the best theatre actors, nationally and internationally, is available on Ranga Shankara's YouTube channel and Facebook page.
