At this Saturday’s RS Connect, Vishwanath HV of the Sharada Gurukula will present Bhajan Sandhya, an eclectic performance of Hindi, Bangla and Kannada bhajans of the Ramakrishna Math Heritage. Vishwanath shall sing compositions by Meerabai, some traditional, slow tempo Bangla songs on Mother Shyama/Durga, Hindustani-based Kannada bhajans and a few compositions by Rabindranath Tagore. He shall be accompanied by Vidvan MS Kiran on tabla, and Sunaada MK on manjira.
Vishwanath Hassan Venkataramaiah is a mentor and founder of 'Sharada Gurukula', a school that teaches and spreads the devotional music of the Ramakrishna Math tradition.
