Event Description

Raqs is a collection of poems rich in imagery and blatantly expressive of love in all its glory and pain. The book takes you on a journey of self-awareness, passion, and an ascent toward divine love. These poems bring together the divine and human, the mystical and real creating a tapestry of poetic images. There will be poetry recitation by the poet from her book Raqs and many more. Through a conversation, the poet will unfold her journey of Raqs.
