Event Description

Rasadrishta is a Dance Production depicting the untold stories of the everyday world through the medium of classical dance. RASA comes from the concept of NavaRASA and ADRISHTA means unseen. The stories in the production address the unseen emotions, which are usually not seen in traditional classical dance performances The piece is choreographed with an intention to make it relatable to all. The choreographer Lakshmy Ramakrishnan says, “As artists, we look forward to making the art form more accessible and understandable to the current society using technology. This is exactly what we are trying to achieve along with a modern twist to the vocabulary of the traditional form.”
