National Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar never loses his faith in humanity and in the power of the humans to go towards a spiritual awakening. This particular work strongly reflects and advocates the destruction of ego in one’s caste and family. He dreams of a world where every human will endeavour to do what they are capable of doing and not as a blessing of their mother’s or/and father’s legacies. Through the narrative of Karna, Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s Rashmi Rathi offers all of us salvation to dream of humanity in its brand new nature where it will be the human alone and their endeavours which will define who they are.
