Pianist Aman Mahajan returns to The Blue Room in a special duo performance with drummer Rohit PS, presenting an evening of original music — fresh compositions, reimagined sketches, and scripted improvisations — that trace a new chapter in Mahajan’s evolving musical journey.

Mahajan’s syncretic, contemporary approach does not belong to a particular style of music, yet as one listens, the music grows quite special as the pianist weaves a dense yet liberating spell over the listener. —High Notes and Dance

Since the release of his debut album 'Refuge' in 2019, Mahajan has been active in a plethora of collaborative cross-genre projects, many which the Blue Room has already witnessed.

This performance marks a return to intimate compositional exploration under his own name, with new material shaped in the rare quiet spaces between performance and teaching.
