Event Description

When the socio-politico-economic fabric is torn by the 'should's and the 'should-not's’, it is important to realise the difference between power and authority. As the playwright himself said "Rifle is the source of all power", it is imperative to see how we perceive "Rifle". Adapted from Utpal Dutt's Rifle, ENAD sets its adaptation in a more contemporary world where history is being tainted as per convenience. As we see the stereotypical oppressor and the oppressed; witness the angst and the anger, we also experience the journey of dilemma, delusion and derivatives. The play envisions to make its audience reflect within.
