We have all spent a lot of time growing up listening to Hindi songs. Sometimes we write down the lyrics of songs whose words resonated with us. Strangely enough, we have rarely associated the songs with the lyricists. Tanishq Rishtey 5.0 – Mujhe Chalte Jaana Hai is curated on the iconic works of two wordsmiths, Shailendra and Gulzar. Their forte is weaving magical 'people’s songs' with words, from deeply philosophical to the quietly romantic, to everything in between in simple language. Quietly, they became historians of their respective eras.
