World Food Day is on October 16 and serves as a reminder that we all play a role in creating a healthier, more sustainable and resilient food system. This year's World Food Day theme is ‘Grow, Nourish, Sustain. Together’. As social science has proven, food has a bigger effect on us than just satiating our hunger. Eating the same food builds trust, dining together builds relationships, and cooking good food builds communities. Attend the FB Live session with Chef Abhijit Saha, to discuss the power of food in building communities.
Chef Abhijit Saha has three decades of national and international experience in the Food Service and Hospitality Industry. Known for his work on molecularly gastronomy, Chef Saha authored the highly acclaimed ‘Caperberry The Cookbook’ which showcases many of his signature recipes, narrates his journey as a Chefpreneur and provides insights on the art of successfully setting up and running a fine dining restaurant in India.
The session will be centred around the role of food in connecting people and building communities.
