117 years of Rotary aims at Raising funds for 117 heart surgeries

RI District 3190 is organizing a gala Musical Fundraiser Evening, a tribute to the legendary Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkarji – The Eternal Lata Mangeshkar – The Nightingale, in aid of Heart Surgeries for the needy supported by the Needy Heart Foundation.

The event marks 117 years of Rotary & aims at raising funds to support 117 heart surgeries. The event is supported by Needy Heart Foundation, our Partners in Service. Dr C N Manjunath, Medical Director, Sree Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research and Rtn O P Khanna, Chairman, Needy Heart Foundation, shall be felicitated at the program for their unstinted support to the cause of heart surgeries.

The singers entertaining you with their melodious voices are Priyanka Mitra, Samanvitha Sharma, Narasimhan Kannan, Govind Kurnool, Shruti Bhide & Aishwarya Kasinathan. Orchestra by Pioneer Suresh. Guest singer – Sheelu Mehta

The event is being held on Sunday 3rd April’22 at Chowdiah Memorial Hall 5.30pm onwards. Lead Mumbai & Bengaluru Singers supported by Pioneer Suresh Orchestra will recreate the magic of Lata Mangeshkar evergreen melodies & enthrall the audience. Rotary International District 3190, comprising of 162 Clubs & 6923 Members, spread across 2 States & 8 Revenue Districts, is headed by District Governor Rtn Fazal Mahmood, an Architect by profession. Great initiatives have been taken to execute need based community projects to wipe a tear & bring a smile on many a faces. Some of the noteworthy projects undertaken are Avoidable Blindness Program, Maternal and Child Care, Zero Hunger project, Gramalakshmi Project, Sahayoga, Girl empowerment Project, and many many more.
