The youngest laureate of The Olga & Jules Craen Foundation (OJCF), Syed Fateen Ahmed will perform many virtuoso Chopin compositions like the Polonaise, Scherzo and Etudes, & the brilliant music of some well known Russian composers.

Syed Fateen Ahmed, is a 16-year-old prodigious Western classical music talent and pianist hailing from Bangalore, India. He is the youngest laureate of The Olga & Jules Craen Foundation (OJCF). Honored with the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar in 2022 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Fateen stands out as one of the youngest Indians to achieve a Distinction in the London College of Music Diploma at the age of 12 in 2020; has also attained 3 Diplomas all in Distinction from The London College of Music- Dip. LCM, ALCM, LLCM, with an impressive 95% , under the guidance of well-known Belarusian maestras Natallia K Kapylova and Liudmila Drazhnik. He is currently preparing for his Fellowship exams.

Fateen’s remarkable international and national achievements include winning first prizes in 14 international piano competitions during Covid time across the globe – Boston, Vienna, London, Greece, Poland, Hong Kong, Spain, UAE, France, Russia, and 3 consecutive years winner at the International Festival Contest “Music of the World” at Israel.

Notable performances include a musical tribute to Rani Vijaya Devi, founder of IMAS on her Centenary celebrations, two debut recitals at The Little Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai, two piano recitals for UNESCO World Art Day, solo recital under the aegis of Poona Music Society and a grand musical tribute for Maharaja Shri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar’s 104th Birth Anniversary.

Debut Grieg Piano Concerto for the gala concert of 10th anniversary of Olga and Jules Crean Foundation with the musicians of Symphony Orchestra of India (SOI) at Tata theatre, NCPA.

He was given the distinguished honour to open a piano recital for Prof.Gabriele Baldocci, internationally acclaimed pianist who is also the duet partner of the legendary Martha Argerich at KMMC, Chennai.

His journey also encompasses a scholarship at Chetham’s International Piano Summer School, Manchester. He also distinguished himself at the John Gomes Memorial Con Brio Competition as well as winning the 5th National Kawai Junior Piano Competition.
