Event Description
Sacred Echoes: Krishna Unbound by Bhargavi Venkatram explores Krishna through music, drawing on stories and traditions from across India. The performance moves between Krishna as Yashoda’s child, the companion of the gopis, the divine presence of Pandharpur and the eternal friend, with themes of longing, devotion and celebration.
The repertoire includes compositions such as Madhurashtakam, Alaipayuthey Kanna and Achutham Keshavam, presented through classical musical traditions without seeking to define or explain Krishna.
