About the Show:
We are, yet again, bringing together the powerful Indian tradition of oral storytelling with the magic of Playback Theatre!
The great Indian epic - Mahabharata; a saga of a war and the warriors, the right and the righteous, of greed, valour and ethics. And above all, a tale of relationships - relationships that took on different meanings with Time.
Time moves along and pulls us along too. What does time do to relationships; relationships with friends, parents, partners, spaces, identities, or relationships with ourselves? We would love to hear from you, your real-life stories of relationships and the different meanings they have held, over time.
Let's come together to share our stories and also hear of some stories from an earlier 'time'.
Playback Theatre - Magical, creative, thought-provoking, reflective, unscripted...just like life itself. A format of improvisational, interactive theatre where the actors will play back your real-life stories on-the-spot, in an authentic and respectful manner, using text, poetry, movement, metaphors, music and more!
