Join us for a panel discussion dissecting the shortcomings of conventional knowledge production on the environment. The panel, featuring Varun Kurtkoti (Filmmaker), Anitha N Reddy (Art Practitioner) and Pradeep Hedge (Conservation Filmmaker), explores the role of media in fostering a nuanced understanding of human-nature relations worldwide. Moderated by Vidya S, (Assistant Professor, Christ University), the discussion investigates how films, photographs, newspapers, and digital media shape our perception of the present and future. This event is part of Vachana 2024: EcoSpective—Ecological Discourses in South Asia, a collaboration between MAP and the Department of English and Cultural Studies at CHRIST (Deemed to be) University, Bannerghatta Campus.
